	LOS ANGELES- Don Cheadle is a busy man. I was reading HERE on Eurweb.com about all of these film projects that he has lined up for the next few years, five in all. Good for you Don. I don't know much about the acting game but from what I've been told it's tough. And twice as tough if you're black. Three times tougher if you're black and you refuse to be cast in any stereotypical roles. I've always Enjoyed Don Cheadle. I loved Hotel Rwanda and even the bit part he played in 'Rush Hour 2' as the owner of an illegal Asian Gambling Hall.
Remember that ? If you blinked during the movie then you missed him but it was a funny scene indeed. I remember watching C-SPAN last year (* yeah I watch C-SPAN for about 30 minutes a year) and Cheadle was on there was part of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI)* According to the CGI website the mission of this Initiative is to: The Clinton Global Initiative, a non-partisan project of the William J. Clinton Foundation, is a catalyst for action, bringing together a community of global leaders to devise and implement innovative solutions to some of the world's most pressing challenges Translation... A bunch of people that Bill Clinton is cool with all get together and agreed that the world is screwed up. They devise plans to solve world hunger and global warming by the end of the conference no one's done shit but ate free food and swapped business cards. None the less, in the following video Mr. Cheadle gave a wonderful take on the benefits of this initiative. After watching this video I'm a true believer that Mr. Cheadle could run for any political office in about 15 different countries. DON CHEADLE SPEAKS AT 2006 CGI The depressing part of this Cheadle video is that there MUST be equilibrium. And who did the universe send down as a balancing at for Don Cheadle's eloquence... Tracy Morgan. Before I post the video link please allow me to say this. I've always enjoyed Tracy Morgan on 'Saturday Night Live' and even the new show on NBC '30 Rock' is worth Tivo'ing now and then. When I opened for Tracy in Birmingham a few years ago he was a pretty serene guy...and then we went to the night club. I died with laughter as Tracy Morgan strolled around Birmingham's 'Platinum' Night Club with his shirt off and a bottle of champagne pouring it in random people's glasses. Tracy Morgan likes to take his shirt off. I have no idea why but after finding other pics of him on the internet with his shirt off it's proof that the incident in Birmingham wasn't a glitch in the Matrix.
Tracy Morgan Wasted on Live TV CLIP Here's a little bit of set up if you care, So the way it works in most cities is like this... Comedian comes to town Thursday night. Friday morning said comedian goes to do morning radio to promote the show. After leaving morning radio, said comedian is taken to a local TV station to do more promotional interviews. Tracy Morgan was in El Paso, TX and had to do the 'Good Morning El Paso' Morning show with the local ABC Affiliate. God Bless the poor white dude that tried to interview him. He did everything in his power to keep the conversation on task but Tracy CLEARLY went his own direction and even took his shirt off... on live television. What was funny was how the producers didn't know what Tracy was about to do so whenever he stood up they'd put up a graphic with information about the show that way if Tracy pulled out his meat out on live TV it wouldn't be seen. My personal favorite part is when Tracy sits down with one of his legs hidden underneath him thus giving the appearance that he's an amputee. He then proceeds to scream "I GOT DIS LEG BLOWED OFF IN VIETNAM!!! " You know things aren't going as planned when you can hear the production crew in the background laughing. To get the full effect of the Equilibrium you have to watch both of these videos in alternating 10-second intervals. It's hilarious to hear Don Cheadle say... "The Crisis in Darfour is terrible and I hope that in 2007 we can do whatever it takes to bring the worlds attention to the atrocities that are going on over there. I'm honored that President Clintion selected me to be a part of this initiative." And then pause the video and hear Tracy Morgan say... "SOMEBODY GETTING PREGNANT TONIGHT!... I'm Captaing James T. Kirk!! "I GOT DIS LEG BLOWED OFF IN VIETNAM!!! " If this was planned by Tracy Morgan as a way to be crazy and get people out to the show then it was BRILLIANT. If it wasn't...then the world needs more Don Cheadles. Wood, Jr.
